Are the high-capacity clips legal for this gun in Mass? I do have a Class A LTC w/no restrictions. Cabela's has 25,30 and 50 round clips for sale.

Not unless they are pre-ban. ZHA has been known for selling pre-ban 10/22 mags.

Purchasing post-ban mags is a BIG no no in mass..
EDIT..

They are magazines not clips.

The last time I was at ZHA they had about 5 of the Ram-line 50 rounders. I looked over the package, but I didn't see any date positively identifying them as pre-ban. I was going to pick a few up, but I wasn't sure if they were ok.

I know it is politically incorrect around here, but I don't really care what you call them, and most everybody knows what you mean. In languages, I think there is a term for it when the common use of the word becomes its real definition, but the term escapes me at this moment.

Here are some references from a very quick google search coming up with the word "clip":

how is ZHA about identifying them as pre-ban?

I have some eagle 30rd mags but cannot find any way to prove they are pre-ban other than the classified ad that I got them from claiming they were. And from what I hear its not like I can call eagle and verify. ANyone know when eagle went under (or was I mislead and are they still around). If they went under back in 94 then I have a great feeling that my eagles are pre-ban but if they just went down last year how can I compare the new with the old and determine their pre-ban status?

That's how we get terms such as "Assault Weapon", or "Gun Violence' (as opposed to just violence).

It's sad when people try to justify supporting the lowest common denominator.

Its not a matter of being "politically correct" its a matter of being correct.
