Royal Purple Gun Oil ???

I have been using synthetic motor oil (Mobil 1 20w50) in my guns for several years with great results. I add a little superfine moly powder but the synthetic works fine by itself. I wouldn't pay extra for specially formulated gun oil, regardless of who makes it.
Like I said-It's free. Pretty much a Hoppe's guy overall with a shot of Blue Wonder every now and then on the bores for the copper.
