I'd give it a try. My current high water mark is a Contender, in .45-70. Or a Magnum Research BFR, in .45-70. Don't know which load was hotter, but the Contender had a better grip for it.
WTF, are gun companies retarded? Do they not know that there are other shells than 12 and .410? This would be a fun toy in 20ga. This would be an expensive toy in 28ga. This is useless in 16ga or 12ga, unless you're looking for pain (yes, I finally found a 16ga that I don't want).
