Rocksett adhesive

brownells sells it and claims it's used by firearms and suppressor manufacturers to bond cylindrical and threaded parts together.

however i personally have not used or even heard of this glue.

if you are questioning this because you think about using it to permanently attach a muzzle device, i want to point out that this method is not an approved one by BATFE. only high-temp soldering and pin/weld are approved. just FYI

Yes I have used it for the application of a surefire muzzle brake/ suppressor mount. It works well, removing it can be a pain.
http://ar15barrels.com/tech/rocksett.jpg. Some people claim its not much harder to get off then blue Loctite. ,The difference is Rocksett can take much hotter temperatures ,that's why its good for suppressors. Rocksett is water soluble so if you had to you could just soak the part in water for 24 hours and that should loosen it up.
