road rage

I can see a 269-10 violation. But assault? They were probably what 30ft away from each other at the closest. Each in their driver's seats and the cars side by side, driving down the road, when she "assaulted" him with the machete...

oh, and...

She also had a loaded handgun, but the gun was legal, secured in a holster and she had a gun permit.

LOL exactly she, HAD, a gun permit. That LTC is goooooooone... Good job shithead you through away your 2A rights over someone beeping a horn at you. That alone should win her a Darwin award.

The real tragedy here is the dissolution of civil society. IMHO, a big part of the reason the gun control people can argue for it is that there are so many knuckleheads like this one who think it's okay to over-react to trivial incidents(blame reality TV if you like). It may not make any rational sense to us, but the argument is that when you generalize out every case of 'When Keeping it Real Goes Wrong" and add a gun, you potentially have Zimmerman/Martin cases on every street corner.

TL;DR version: People want to act like douche-bags without the fear that they might be justifiably shot in the face.
