RIP Richard Pryor

Age 65. I'm amazed he lasted that long. He was a comic genius

In one news report, the reporter commented on how at one time Pryor was compared to Bill Cosby. Must have been real early in his career.

I can't remember any vivid things Pryor said, but do remember his standup was influential and hilarious.

In his early years he was pretty good. Hopefully he is at peace now.

He had some of the best movies early on...

He'll be missed.

He was a funny guy. One of my favorite movies when I was a kid was "The Toy". He will be missed by many.

That was a good movie.

He was also good in Stir Crazy and Superman 3. And he made a pretty funny God in In God we Trust.

And one of my favs was with him, Eddie Murphy, Arsenio Hall and another comedic genius Redd Foxx in Harlem Nights.

Redd Foxx is great, It's said that he haunts his old house.
