Rifle Match Loads?

A buddy at work just bought a RRA NM rifle. w/ a 1:8 bbl. What poweders (weights and brands) and what weight heads would you reccommend. All I have is the Hornady book, so I looking for some more info for him.

To be honest I have no Idea. Bulls Eye matches are not my thing, I am just trying to help him set up a good load for his rifle. I can say it is going to be no more than 300m since his first shoot is taking place at Westfield Sportsmans club.

24.5 grains of Varget under a 69 grain Sierra Match King 100 m. 25.0 grains (+/- .3 extruded powder variant) Varget under 69 grain Sierra Match King for 300m. I use Lake City brass and WSR or CCI small rifle primers. Rock River NM, 20" Wilson barrel with a 1-8 twist.
