Retay vs browning a5 wicked wing

Like any other turkish gun...probably fine. Ive got thousands thru my impala plus guns with no issues at all. A pump gun..probably expect less problems.

It would be a fun experiment. I will say the one SXP i handled felt pretty darn good. It has some 'inertia assisted' initial opening of the bolt. Interesting.

What is your issue, sir?

You yourself recommended a 1969 A5.

Accusing me of daydrinking, weed, and coke use? Look no further than your own posts on this thread.

Have a nice night.
Where in this post did I recommend he buy an old model a5?

I asked him if waterfowl or upland.....and i asked that because I actually know what the f*** I'm talking about! I would never recommend an old model a5 to someone that may use it for waterfowl cuz you can't shoot steel.....plus the new model a5 comes in 3 and 3.5 inch chambers and if the op isn't gonna goose hunt he doesn't need a 3.5 inch chamber. I got his answer and gave my recommendation accordingly.

All my responses about liking the old model a5 were to other people commenting on old models not the op......my post about my 1969 was to citoriguy. 😂

Here's my reply to the op...where did I recommend an old model a5?

"What kind if birds will it be used on? Waterfowl or upland?

I have an old a5 and a new model a5 and I love them both. I have had zero issues with my new model a5 and shoot it alot. Put about 150 rounds a month thru it on the trap range plus hunting season. Terrific hunting shotgun imo. Being inertia operated it runs clean as hell no carbon to clean from the receiver and bolt at all.

I wouldn't hesitate to buy the new model a5"

If your not day drinking then your reading comprehension needs work....alot of it.

I can think of maybe 137 better choices than some new turkish import. Near the top of the list would certainly be an original a5 sweet 16.
Depends on what your expectations are. My CZ1012 has had the absolute tar beat out of it and it's perfectly competent. If I actually hunted birds with mine id have no qualms about bringing it afield. Ironically I shot it better taking reaction/snap shots on sporting clays when i wasn't prepared. 🤣

-Does the gun fit you?
-Do you like the sighting?
-Does it swing easily for you?
-Is it reliable enough to run the loads you want to use?

I'm a relative noob at shotgun stuff but these are the things ive noticed that seem to matter the most.

I just got a Beretta A400 Exteeme Plus. Is it a better shotgun? Sure. It's less abusive and points better for me. But I wouldn't hesitate to recommend a 1012 as a decent entry level/all purpose gun. I'm not getting rid of my 1012 anytime soon.

😂

I have my reason for not being a fan of turk guns.........I've spent time in turkey.
Turkatron shotguns have wide variations in quality. Some of the stuff feels like it was made by the "poor fitting shoe factory in china" then you have huglu products like the CZ 1012 that are relatively sqared away shotguns. The one nice thing about the CZ is theres a clear service path for those guns. Some of the offbrand shit is questionable beyond basically being a disposable shotgun. If the brand/importer dies good luck getting service.

I should have been more specific....

I understand some turk fire arms are made well. I won't buy turk products because I've spent time in turkey.....and spent time with turks.....civilians and military. Most conceited.....most stuck up.....most rude......most holier than thou culture I've ever spent time with.
