Repairing Electronic Earmuffs

Does anyone have experience with getting electronic earmuffs repaired? I just had two pairs, one Champion and one Caldwell fail in the same way, the left ear mechanism quit.

I imagine that they can be repaired but does any company do this? And more importantly, is it worthwhile financially?

Is it the same ear in both?

Pop them open and take a look. It is probably a broken wire or something simple.

I did look but did not see anything. Maybe I should take a closer, more detailed look.

Let me know if you see anything loose. I have the soldering equipment to fix it is it is simple.

Did the just quit or is it making funny noises? If it just quit it is probably a broken wire. Check both left and right as sometimes the electronics is in one side and there is a wire running to the other.
