remnants movie?

Just went on a downloading binge and was looking for this movie, upon further research it's being remade it would seem?

If anyone would be willing to digitize a copy or loan me a physical of the early version that'd of the be awesome.

top 10 on amazon whattt?

It's because of the section it is in....

" #12 in Movies & TV > DVD > Science Fiction "

Also, I think the rating has to do with how many people add the movie to their list (even if not purchased) - and 'blackfox' has been busy getting people to add it.
Notice how few reviews there are compared to other "top 10" in that category.

i just watched it. not going to win any awards but it wasn't that bad. they could have dumped a whole side of the story and tom sizemore and used the money to make a better movie. still its good to see stuff come out on a subject matter that we're interested in.

I just ordered the dvd from amazon......15 bucks. Looking forward to checking it out.

I found it last week at the Raynham flea market for $7, watched it, and sold it for $5. It was a good story line, but production was as expected and so was the acting.

do you think they would have been better off dumping the government bunker side of the story and just sticking with the neighborhood peoples? theres a huge thread on this on arfcom apparently the movie was started by a bunch of people out of a garage then taken over by a guy who is a little more of a producer, he took what they started and finished it, he says he did what he could yada yada yada. but they are doing lights out right now and he says its going to be of way better quality. we'll see, ill buy it.

If the bunker scenes were done better they wouldn't have been so bad. Having a view of what people were doing trying to fix the problem was a good addition to the story.

I agree, the bunker scenes was a little too corny, and that kind of killed what ever interest I had in the movie. Since I was under the impression it was made by "preppers" I kind of expected a little more detail in what they were doing in the neighborhood.

I am looking forward to Lights Out though.

I enjoyed it for what it is- a low budget attempt at telling a story. It wasn't great but wan't terrible, either. 299 Days is doing a kickstarter to make the books into 3 movies....I hope they can do it. The author seems obsessed with how cool his team looks (like PMC's! Whoa, awesome..LOL) but the story is pretty good.

Watched it and it wasn't bad. Its a great story line thought.......if a major producer picked up the story line and went with a bigger budget and better actors it would be awesome. I'd like to see it concentrate only on the subdivision and what they were going through.....actually hunting and maybe scenes with the "preppers" actually teaching the others how to hunt and farm etc......

As with most things, I am probably the last person to experience this movie. It is available to rent on Amazon instant video, so I just watched on my Fire TV stick for $3.99.

It was pretty friggin bad. I enjoyed the trailer much more so than the movie.

Gonna watch it tonight, since my wife's on a business trip and it just came from netflix.

Read the sample for Lights Out, seems good, hope they make a movie.

I'd like to see a movie made out of Voodoo Plague - my favorite of the genre so far, although it's more Walking Dead than a prepper novel. But zombies, a Special Forces guy, a hot stripper and lots of cool guns, would make a killer movie!

Watched this yesterday. Surprisingly good I thought. Yeah, the acting blows and I think they used porn cameras to film it, but it made you think a bit, and was reasonably realistic. I hope they didn’t pay Tom Sizemore more than the league minimum, he was terrible. The whole presidential bunker thing was probably a waste of screen time, but I did like to see what the government was trying to do, even if it was poorly portrayed. Good and bad guys seemed way too fancily armed I thought, oh well.

Worth a viewing overall I thought.
