Has anyone had a chance to handle or shoot the Remington 887 Nitromag 12 Gauge?

Some have given it a poor review. Any suggestions?

I've had no problems with mine at all, to me it is reliable and shoots great! I can only speak for myself but I think it's a fine shotgun!

My friend bought one for his son last year and they have hunted with it for just over a year now and have been really happy with it. He is now going to buy one for himself.

I just didn't get what was wrong with the regular 870, well I guess besides it being inferior to the Mossberg.

I have the 887 tactical. I personally love it. No pun intended, but its a blast to shoot. I put it through its paces at the pumpkin shoot, and it ate every type of ammo I fed it. Recoil was a non issue, and the reliability was fantastic. It even caught the eyes of some of the RSO's, and they shot, and liked it as well.
