Will start reloading 350 Legend. But can't find bullets heavier than 147 in .355 unless I pay for Winchester Power Point, or go plated. I am looking around 165-180.

Doing some reading people say rifles seem to do better with 356 or 357.

I have reloaded 357 plated bullets for 9mm revolvers. But not sure about a semi auto rifle.

What are your thoughts?

Cast and coated at .357 or .358 worked fine.
I might have some 200 grainers laying around if you need some. Or you can borrow the mould.

It seems that Hornady and Winchester make bullets in the correct diameter and Federal is about to. Why not get the correct diameter? From what I've read, sizing jacketed bullets is much more difficult than sizing cast bullets and not a good idea.

As much as I like to rag on Steve Hornady for being a D-bag, Hornady generally has good options for calibers like .458 socom and also the 350. A 170 grain Interlock would do a good job on hogs. MSS and others have them.

Barnes makes an interesting .355 170 grain TSX for hunting. A bit pricey.
