I do technically have an FFL (C&R).
I'll have to read this article tonight. Still got a little bit of IMR 3031 left and was planning to load a bunch of stuff--8mm, 303, 30-06, 223--this weekend.
 
So 48gr IMR4895 + 175 SMK?

I have to admit I recall IMR4895 doing well, but I haven't loaded with it in probably 1.5-2 years. I do have some left.
remember military powder is not the same as what we get....and

How old is that article? Some of those powders are different than they were back in the last century
