Hey folks... finally got my reloading setup ... set up... so nw I have about 300 .223 LC cases cleaned, de-primed, trimmed, chamferred, etc... I am about ready to start sizing my cases and I'm not certain I have the right size bushing for my Redding Neck Sizer Die... I have .246... when I seat a 69gr SMK to the proper length all seems tight, except that I can push the bullet in with moderate much force against my reloading bench...

What size bushing should I be using??? .245, .244, other.... How tight is too tight (or loose)?

Thanks.

Jon, I don't use Redding dies so I can't say. HOWEVER, you MUST size the case before trimming. The case expands when fired but the case neck stretches during sizing.
