Last Sunday I ate at the Red Robin restaurant at the Shops at Blackstone. This is the new outdoor mall area that was built off of 146 at the Mass Pike crossroad. The burgers there are very good and they give you a bottomless basket of steak fries with them.

So I go in, sit down, order my burger and notice that they are playing a gun show on the big screens all over the restaurant. The show was about a bunch of guys shooting WWII type weapons at the range. They were shooting a Thompson, MI Carbine and a Sten. I couldn't believe it! I looked around and a lot of people were watching. Not complaining, just watching like they were enjoying the show. Hell, this place was packed and there were kids all over the place. Was there a little over an hour and caught the whole show. My wife mentioned that they will probably change the channel any second now, but it didn't happen.

I'll definitely eat there again!

Been there just about every two weeks for the past several months as my wife wants to hit various shops. (and we like the Cold Stone Ice Cream after)

Red Robin has always been the Fast Food of choice when traveling out west and it's nice to have one locally now. As they said, Good Burgers and all the Fries you can eat. (although the Onion Ring Tower is prety good too.)

HOWEVER.....

The BEST Burgers are still in O'Sullivan's Pub in Somervile just outside Porter Square. Across the Street from the Stop & Shop. Hand formed 1/2 lb burgers cooked the right way on all kinds of combination presentations. I like mine with Hot Italian Sausage, Mushrooms, and Cheddar. (^_^) Certainly the Red Bones of Burgers.

I went to Dick's sporting goods in Framingham to buy some shooting supplies, and they had a video going on these monitors mounted overhead. There was some shooting sports show, and the guy on the tv was saying "You hear these idiots in the Media talking about an 'automatic revolver', well there isn't anything to revolve in a semi-automatic pistol...."

I was in that same Dicks about a month or so ago and they were playing a hunting video that actually showed a guy taking a shot on a deer and the deer being hit. A lady and her young kids were walking by the monitor I was watching this on. When the deer was shot the lady freaked out a little bit, grabbed her kids by the shoulders and almost ran out of the sporting goods area. All the time spouting off about how they shouldn't show those thing on TV in the store. I just had to shake my head.

Remember watching "Mutual of Omaha's Animal Kingdom" when you were a kid? We all sat, mouth agape, waiting for the kill!

We have a Red Robin in Plymouth. I haven't been yet but everyone else in the family has and they love it. My 17 yr old son goes about once a week.

... Worlds greatest burgers are at... well.. "The Worlds Greatest Burgers"... there is one in Wikiki Hawaii... those where damn good burgers... though everything tasts better in Hawaii IMO.

I'm out that way all the time, and I have no idea what this is...

We shop at the Millbury shops all the time as my in-laws are in Northbridge/Whitinsville.

Where in the shops is this place located? Down by the movie theaters? Up by Fridays? Back by Target/Babies R Us?

I go to the Red Robins when I visit Ohio (along with my pilgrimage to White Castle). Good burgers, glad to see they've moved east.

For another great burger place, is right here in Watertown - Wild Willy's Burgers [smile]
