The wonders of a part time job during retirement where I get to keep the money for collecting and fixing the 1937 Pontiac...restored gas tank goes in next Tuesday by the way. I've been buying, selling, and trading to build back my 7.65mm (.32 acp) pistol collection, especially the German WW2 occupation pieces. If Germany occupied a country in WW2 that was producing a .32 for its military, they kept it in production for the German Army. I enjoy the caliber and it makes for an easy range trip since my heart attack. Recently I traded in my 1920 M03 T3 Colt and upgraded it for a nice 1906 T1. I got a steal of a 1943 Belgian FN10/22 b-block rig, and traded for a late 1944 Phosphate finished Czech CZ27. Not sure how many more I will get....need another pistol rack in the gun cabinet.... but there are the M13 Sauer, Sauer 38H for German pistols, and the Walther 4, as well the Hungarian Femaru M37 and French Ruby left for occupation pieces. There are many others, but you have to draw the line somewhere.

For those who don't recognize these....starting at 12:00...

1909 M07 Savage
1944 Czech CZ27, occupation
1944 M35 Italian Beretta, occupation
1939 Walther PPk, commercial
1906 M03 T1 Colt
1943 Mauser HSc, army
1938 Walther PP, commercial
1943 Belgian FN10/22, occupation
1915 M14 Mauser, Imperial

Took the new ones to the range today. Not the best day to go shooting....42F, snow on the ground, but a 20mph wind which made shooting suck. Our targets are suspended by binder clamps on string between metal posts, so half the time the target was horizontal. Had to do rapid and guess shooting, which is why a lot were high. Distance was 40 feet.

Colt was perfect...4 mags...three of ball left (71gr FMJ PPU, and 71gr Winchester SWC). One mag of Buffalo Bore carry ammo right (75gr HLSWC). No problems at all.

Not as lucky with the others. One mag each of PPU and Winchester...trying to conserve ammo as I can't get any anywhere. The CZ shot better, but had a sloppy trigger....2 misfeeds and 3 stovepipes in 16 rounds. FN had 1 misfeed and 2 stovepipes. They'll probably do better a second time out when its warmer.
