Looking for a really good holster for a Staccato P with X300 and an RMR?

Not looking for a retention holster.

This will be mostly pistol competition and some pistol classes.

I’ve been looking around and nothing sticks out.

I have used a ton of brands, but nothing is standing out.

Thinking an idpa legal holster vs say a ghost/skeleton.

Thoughts?

Some conflicting information.
First of all idpa is gay so forget that part
Mostly for competition and classes (in the dark? No? , so the attached light is non relevant - ie take it off

I suggest a CompTac International (for sti edge- will fit a 2011 long/wide frame 5" or less)
Comes with the drop/offset hanger for your preference.

Actually may be ok for idpa but you'd have to ask your range SO because it may vary from match to match and stage to stage

Yes. Idpa rhymes with gay!

I shoot most versions. Idpa, uspsa etc.

Just looking for one holster to cover everything.

The light is because I’ll be doing some low to no light shoots in a month or two.

Not idpa/uspsa just a bunch of guys in the dark with gear, pistol is secondary.

And while currently expired, I’m an idpa SO (don’t hate me).

I have a great Gubius Regis (sp? Skeleton set up for my CZ TSO)

Just looking for a more standard set up that covers a lot of scenarios

T1 MSP?

T1 MSP?

Sadly this is gonna have me pass on it.

Looks like it just uses the light to index it.

Right now, my research has me looking at a black point tactical holster.

I have a few for other guns.

Safariland, wait for a 50% off sale or Amazon is typically the best priced.

Use the Safariland holster finder for the correct model.

Get something with retention, it becomes second nature and is a non issue. Also, if you do use it for classes you will appreciate having it.

Most competitions have a duty gear division and other than major matches you could even shoot for no official score.
Face it, you suck and aren’t getting on the podium anyway. 😂

Was thinking SL. But wanted something more universal for now.

I saw first hand if you fall into the dirt and get sand in your SL retention holster, it’s no longer a retention holster… 😜

Ended up with a black point tactical one. I can use that one most any case

I know, I’m not shooting nearly as much as I was. I did not go this am (had to work). So no practice today. I am sucking lately.

Gonna have to step up my shooting.
