If your guns are 1911s, look at the Tactical Solutions .22 conversion kits.
I like mine except that it’s really small if you have large hands like me.I like my Ruger SR22 a lot
Even with the fuller grip, it's tiny (and the OP's hands are probably as big as mine). I love it for teaching students who are smaller than me, but it swims around in my hands just like my (equally petite) Bearcat. That said, if it's mostly for Mrs Radtek, she might not run into the same problems.SR-22 is better with the thicker grip installed for larger hands. Also get this from TK, which helps:

S&W M&P 22... It is everything the Sig Mosquito should have been but wasn’t.
(Love to see a 2x2 table surveying all manual-safety pistols:Avoid: Ruger SR22. The upside down safety is a very dangerous habit to reinforce.
Safety isn't an issue with that gun. If it is then the fix is easy...always leave if OFF.Recommend: Ruger MK IV Lite
A lot easier to break down than your mk2
and the lite is a lot lighter so I shoot many more rounds before my hands get tired

I have an SR22 that has been very, very reliable for any 22 ammo. But I hear the Taurus is really everything the Glock should have been, ironically.Check out the Taurus TX22. I know, it's a Taurus, but they really did a great job on it. Plenty of rave reviews out there on them.
How has your G44 been working? I hope that the resolve any issues they had, I want to get one, but only if it can be reliable.Glock 44 or a Tx22... or a ruger mkiv... f*** everything else.

Picky for ammo, or did it settle in nicely?1200 rounds, hasn't blown up yet. I demand a refund!!!
