I was firing my fathers Benelli 12 gauge today and the Tasco red dot scope broke from the recoil. Yes I know; we got what we paid for. Could those of you with red dots mounted on shotguns please share what you're using and if you'd recommend them.

I'm using older Bushnells on my Rem 870 Marine Magnum (Holo II on a Millett Saddle Mount) and Benelli Super 90 M1 (Holo I
on drilled and glued-on Weaver rail) and both work flawlessly since several years.
I like the Holos/Eotechs over tube style dots for a better field of view and (IMHO) quicker target acquisition.
