I'm almost certain that I've seen a thread like this, but I could not find it for the life of me.

I have a NH non-resident pistol permit. I am traveling to Pennsylvania in the future. Pennsylvania honors the NH permit. Am I allowed to carry in PA?

This seems like a straightforward question to which the answer is yes, but I seem to remember reading that NH specifically says that a New Hampshire non-resident pistol permit in only valid in NH. Is there truth to this? And if so, does that actually carry legal weight - would PA refuse to honor it? It doesn't say that it's only valid in NH on the permit anywhere, but it does say "NON RESIDENT" in the title.

Thanks.

I think you're right that it would be honored, but I figured I would be better safe than sorry, so I'm getting a PA non-resident license to carry. It's $26 for 5 years, which I think is reasonable.
