Range bag recommendations?

This is the way….

I bought this a couple of years back and still use it today; the tool slots have a bungie over them and hold mags perfectly and there is plenty of room for ammo, ear muffs and pistols in soft cases

It's basically this one that is still available from Midway: Competition Range Bag System, only with cool red pin-stripping.

I also have the backpack that @Mesatchornug uses. It's great for 1911 size and smaller semi-auto pistols, but anything bigger really doesn't fit. The biggest revolver I can fit in mine is a 4 in. 357.

I got so sick of dragging a bag, multiple pistol cases, a cooler full of ammo etc etc, only to get to the range to realize it would be great to have a cleaning rod, or a tool set etc. Guns, ammo, gear, spare parts, tools , binos, first aid kit, all on wheels.

100% this. Got the Rigid version and I'll never go back to bags.
So much easier to transport.
