No ladies, these aren't porn shots of yours truly [laugh], but instead milsurp rifle pics that I took recently. I didn't want to add seperate threads for each rifle so they're all here.

This a Yugoslavian K98, all matching shown with Yugo 8mm ammo and correct sling and bayonet. Half the fun of milsurp collecting is getting the correct accessories. [smile]

This is the Russian M44 most of you saw at the Pumpkin Shoot.

This is an all matching excelent condition K31 with vivid tiger stripe grain in the wood that I picked up a while ago.

And lastly is a Yugoslavian 59/66 SKS in un-issued condition.

OK, now you did it, I'm jealous.
All very nice ones. You did good.
The K31 is the nicest that I've seen in a long time.
Give your wife my name so I can buy it if you're ever run over by a streetcar.[smile]

Those guns are gorgeous.

I agree. When I bought my K98 it had an incorrect sling and no bayonet. Some TLC on the wood to remove the Russian shellac and some patience at the Marlboro gun show and and I now have a proper K98 with the correct accessories.

Speaking of the Marlboro show, where is the gun porn of the GEW you picked up there?

those rifles look to be in amazing shape.

A friend of min has a M1 Garand from the Korean war, but it is in need of a little TLC and I just wouldnt know how to start... But I am still very tempted to buy it from him.

It would be not only my first Milsurp but first gun in all....

If you can afford it, get it. They are not getting any cheaper. A good Garand is one of the best rifles you'll ever own.

Is there a particular ammo that the garand prefers?... last time we shot it... wee has several failures to load a round after a shot...

Couple of jams... but it seemed to be an ammo issue.

When I used the older stuff he had. it worked fine. the newer stuff was the problem.
