When out running hunting hounds in off season, can you carry your sidearm in Ma? I'm pretty sure you can't during hunting season. I run coon hounds all year round and was wondering this, yes I have my LTC.

Depends.

Which hunting season? If it's deer, a handgun in a no-no, regardless of license. If it's during other times, it's not unlawful (except for weird hours, for some)

Oh, having dogs in the woods during deer season might cause problems.

As long as its not Sunday... You can hunt bull frogs with any handgun and you don't need a hunting license.. This piece of information could get you out of a lot of trouble.
