I've wanted to build an AR but family financial restrictions have held me back a little. About a month ago those restrictions were lifted and I am able to buy a lower right now. I wanted to know if I got the lower now would that be enough to be grandfathered in?

Thanks

There isn't any "new ban" for anything to be grandfathered under yet. Any answer would just be speculation. If you want to build an AR just do it.

Also bad time to pick to get a lower...prices and availability are brutal.

there is nothing to be grandfathered into. no new bans have been started (yet) and a lower by itself doesnt fall under any current or past bans. With the buy frenzy of people worried about new bans that trash all semi-autos... trying to find one at decent prices is next to impossible

Enough of the "will I be grandfathered in" bullshit.

Either buy it and do not comply or turn in your guns now.

Those are the only choices that remain.

Die on your feet a free man or live on your knees as a slave. Choose wisely.

I am thinking of a third choice think General George S. Patton
