I'm not certain, but it looks like the charges are class 4 felonies. That would be up to 1-3 years, plus 30-120 hours of community service. Not sure if the multiple counts would be added up.

The news article referenced also made note that the fbi is investigating a death threat they believe he sent to himself. Perhaps this round of charges is a warm up for the fed charges.

If he had just let it go after the first time and hadn't kept on insisting that he was innocent, being victimized, suing the city, etc
they probably wouldn't be reopening his case.

You guy's are so insensitive he really shouldn't be punished for being what he is. It's certainly not his fault; get him a EBT card and let him find a new scam; and settle with the cops, for what I don't know but he should be getting millions on this injustice.
