Pumpkin Shoot pics......See what you missed!!!!

I think that's a little more than a 6 rounder, looks more like a ten!

I am believe that is the surefire 12 rounder.

They are now making 5,10,12 round stick mags and the 20 round drums. MD Arms 20 round drum seems to be the way to go in drums and that is in the +200 range.

Best bet is a magwell from JD Travers and some mags. Even the 10-12 rounders start in the 40+ range. The magwell really can improve reload times. My guess is that + 20 rounds the mags and magwell would beat the drum for about the same $

WOW that looked like a great time! I'm GREEN and had no clue this was going on. Pissed I missed it. Do you need to be some special member to get invited to these shoots?

My first shoot and my woman and I had a great time. It was great meeting several of you.

Obligatory picture of someone taking a picture.

And thank you JohnFH for turning my woman onto muzzle loaders, she loved it.

I'll get some videos up later, just need a little editing due to my lack of skills.
(this includes the first volley for the day)

sounds like you come from a free state, i'm stuck with 5 rounders down in hell

Who is the petite woman with the long braided hair? She looks like someone I graduated with from high school. Are you from WMASS?

Punkin Shoot!

Snapped a few pics and vids on the iPhone...This thing is great. Spent most of the shoot socializing and blasting away. Need to dedicate myself to bringing gear and shooting pics for real one of these days...Let me tell you something about HJG. Not only is he a good example of range etiquette and safety, he's a good example of a solid role model for his kids. If only every kid could be so lucky....

Is that Dwarvin1 NOT using a sling and shooting from a bench? Say it ain't so Ross! [wink]

Might have been - my feet were hurting by late afternoon, so I was sitting down. Most of the time I was using the sling, though, and not resting the rifle on the range bag.

But each shot WAS fired with the six steps! [smile]

Looks like you were about to flinch on that shot.

6 steps.

load the gun
point the gun
flip off the safety
pull the trigger

Boom
