I started a thread probably in the wrong forum.. Woops!

Not sure what the proper thing to do is here, ask to move the thread or start a new one.. But, the TL;DR of it is I am having trouble connecting to the board without using a proxy. I have eliminated everything except perhaps a firewall rule that doesn't like my laptop for some reason.. If you have the time please take a look at the linked thread and or let me know if there is anything I can do to help figure out why my newest mostest favorite forum seems to hate me.. At least on a technical level..
