David Huckabee, 26, later pleaded guilty to the misdemeanor of possessing a weapon in a prohibited place. Both he and his father, Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee, hold a concealed weapons permit.

So now he's a criminal? Sheesh.

I wonder if the misdemeanor in AR is a disqualifying
conviction. Probably not, I bet in MA that same kind
of thing would get you an instant felony charge and a
revoked LTC, plus the turd frosting of becoming a prohibited
person if they convict you (of whatever it is. ) .

It is a sad state of affairs for turning someone who made an
honest mistake into a criminal.
