Im sure as most of you know that in the PRM we still have the assault weapons ban.

I was wondering how much a preban cobray semi auto (closed bolt since open semis are extremely rare) mac model would run for in MA? I saw one at four seasons for 800 but that seems a little ridiculous because Ive seen them on guns america for under 500 (but that was out of state).

Does this new Zero hour arms gunstore in MA have any (they say therye specialty is preban- I havent been)?

By the way, nice webpage! I have been looking for a gun forum for MA for a long time!

Welcome to the group Ericman. I can't answer about the price of that particular firearm, however, MA prices are usually higher because of our gun laws and restrictions than in other parts of the country, so that could explain the difference you saw on line.

Welcome to the forum.

Give Zero Hour a call and ask them what they have or what they can get it for.

Since essentially all handguns have to have been in MA on 10/21/98 (there are only ~8 different mfrs that bother getting MA approval), we have a very finite supply in the sales channel. Since we can't bring any more in (except if someone moves in with one and later sells privately), it inflates the prices significantly in MA!
