Pre ban magazines

I have heard both sides on this. I've been told that it is OK to own
30 round magazines as long as they are pre ban and I've heard
that in mass you can't own them no matter what. Which is correct.

Why would you pay $50 for something that is at least 20 years old?
Pre ban mags are only valuable to people in like 4 states. To people in the free world they are junk.

Basically. Unless it's a make/model magazine that has a known manufacturing start date that's post-1994.
