Does anyone know of any shops specializing in diesel trucks? I have a powerstroke, and looking to find a reputable shop in the northeast. I've been thru a couple in the area, and a lot of the so called "specialist" end up being high priced hacks.

The secret to working on the powerstroke is having a guy with excellent electrical skills. Most of their problems tend to relate to electrical problems. Once you solve the electrical problems the powerstroke is very reliable. http://www.intellidog.com/dieselmann/60bulletin.htm Read the bulletins on this page for some insight to solving your own problems or keeping from having your bank account emptied with shady dealer tricks by being able to identify common problems on your own. Dealerships love to rebuild turbos, replace all your filters, and expensive control modules before they find the $5 sensor that is causing your problem.

Thanks for the info everyone. I'm just looking for someone to possibly recheck some aftermarket suspension I had a performance shop install. I had Mass diesel install it, and they incorrectly installed my shocks that ran me $2,000. I'm pretty much looking for someone to recheck there work if I'm not able to. I'm worried because if they screwed up shocks, there is a good chance they might have incorrectly installed my 3 link suspension.

I've got an 04 f450 I was having issues with. I searched Google and a couple powerstroke forums mentioned a guy out of salem nh. His name escapes me but I talked to him a few months back and he was decent to deal with over the phone. A google search should turn him up. I ended out solving the problems myself.

For 6.0 Powerstroke issues call Robby at Princeton Diesel in Sterling MA 978-422-9936

For suspension issues call Greg at Enhanced Street Performance also in Sterling MA (same building, different business) 978-422-7273.

Both of these guys can help!

Come by my house and I will go over it with you. What year is your truck? What kit did you go with? Why are you questioning the install? What was wrong about the shocks? Just getting an idea on what is going on.
Im not a shop or anything like that, I'm just into lifted trucks and could possible save you some money.
