Powder recommendation for 9mm Shield

What powder do you guys like for 9mm out of a S&W shield? The bullet will be a 115gr. HP XTP

I have been using Bullseye for my 9MM. I don't own a shield

I would imagine any suitable 9mm powder (that you have load data for using 115 gr XTPs) will be fine in a Shield. The shorter barrel might make me consider using a faster burning powder but I don't think it should matter much. I only use fast burning powders for 9mm (and own a Shield) like N320 as I like needing less powder per round compared to slower burning powders.

Edit: I now only use 124/125 gr bullets but have had no issues with 115 gr bullets of course.

Same powder I've been using in all my 9mm's since the late 80's. Unique. I know there are newer better powders but this has worked well for me.

when I owned a Shield, I used Titegroup with great success. The faster burn rate may help.

Titegroup works well with the short barrels.

Around 4.8gr should get that 115gr XTP moving decently.

This! CFE Pistol is very nice, meters quite well too.

CFE or AutoComp. AutoComp has been a little more accurate.
