Powder measure question

I sure hope not. I leave them loaded up for months at a time. My rifle one is pretty much always loaded except for when I need to clean it or something.

*Of course it is properly secured in a locked cabinet as per the CMRs.

The only down side I have encountered is that prolonged powder storage in a plastic powder reservoir can darken the plastic. I have a couple of measures that are so opaque that you can't visually check the powder level.

I have one Hornady LnL powder measure with a discolored and distorted reservoir from powder being left in it. I bought the measure that way at a deep discount! It still works fine but the reservoir wobbles back and forth a bit. A little bit of Teflon tape stuffed into the gap tightened it up. All my other Hornady, Lee, and RCBS measures endure being left loaded without issue. My mec 20 ga press has had about 2" of IMR 700x in it for at least 5 years
