Picked up a pre 1989 Polytech side folder. It was just about in new condition and I couldnt pass her up.
Shoots awesome and is very accurate. It is my first AK to own and shoot and I am really impressed with relaibility and performance.
Ok down to business......
Installed SAW pistol grip, much larger than the stock wooden one.....
Samsom K rails for AK.
I had some magpul rail covers laying around so on they went. Birdcage flash hider for AK.
Overall the grip is more positive and the forend feels way better, much more solid.
Im gonna put on a doctor or burris red dot sight soon. I want the Aimpoint micro but dont feel like paying that kind of money.
One other good thing about the AK is the price of ammo..its waaay cheaper than what I need to feed the Varminter.
