I am actually hoping for total firearm confiscation. That will be the final nail in the coffin of this Constitutional Republic and will energize hundreds of thousands to overt action to take this country back. The slowly boiled frog doesn't realize until it's too late that he's cooked. The frog that had the heat turned up all at once is burned and either jumps or dies. It's far past time to jump...
Depends on whether Trump or Hildebeast wins. Most likely at least 2 Supreme Court appointments, and the ability to do an obama style "Executive Order" cutting off Federal funding to various entities in Ma.

It's done. I've listed the reasons elsewhere, but I feel that this is a political move on her part that turned thousands of law abiding MA residents into felons. Here is what I see happening: She will get sued on the state level. State court will say "of course she has a right to close the "loophole" that allows those evil guns to be sold." It gets appealed to the 1st district court of appeals, who say "wow...they're evil and killy. Good thing she put a stop to that!" It will then get appealed to the SCOTUS after about 2-3 years. SCOTUS at that point has 2-3 more socialist activist judges that have been appointed by Clinton since she took office. They will either deny cert OR, more likely, they will accept the case and use it as a basis to overthrow Heller. This is going to have very far-reaching implications.
Either way, we're screwed. I've always been an MA holdout, and I'll continue to do 110% of what I can to un**** this state... but when we do things the right way, stop legislation, and have this happen only to go unchallenged. It shows us the system is too far gone.

For some reason Maura is trying to gain political favor. Maybe for an appointment in Washington? I don't think it will last. I think her call for clarification from the Governor's office is going to be the beginning of the end.
Massive non-compliamce is the middle ground. Also, this show of strength will be great, but I expect wont be as effective as the litigation that is to come.

Actually if you look at the poll, there's the surrender monkey choice, then the three other ones are optimistic.
Choice 1 of "We're Screwed" = 86 votes
Choices 2, 3 and 4 = Total of 119 votes.
So most people think this will be overturned. I hope you guys do get this overturned because America isn't supposed to be run by one person in a pantsuit.
It will be the 1770's all over again. Maura Healey makes a great Tory.

I'm going to be positive and say it gets overturned. Not because anyone in Boston cares about our 2nd amendment rights, but they will realize how dangerous of a precedent this would set. The next AG could redefine gay marriage or abortion laws. A very slipper slope. Not to mention she basically made the legislature obsolete. I predict her "friends" quietly slip into the background as the dust settles. It might actually cost her her job. (But it will probably get her into the governor's mansion)
Even in Ma. they have always been careful not to go full retard.
The last round of proposed laws is evidence of that.
Most of them simply want to cruise along and run for their unopposed seats and do business as usual.
Why rock the boat when you have it made?
My feeling is that Maura has no long term plans in Ma.
Maybe Hitlery has already promised her a nice spot, who knows.
I don't think even the ones that aren't particularly 2A friendly are appreciating the shit storm she brought down on them.
Baker is just a f*cking coward and just self limited himself to being a one term wonder.

Just so we're clear, those of us who voted that we're screwed are facing the realities of this state and its history respecting the 2nd Amendment. Those votes do NOT mean that those voters are pussies or are giving up the fight. This is going to be a long, painful uphill battle, and infighting isn't going to do our cause any favors.
After Trumps cry for law and order and his past dis like for AW I don't have much faith in him doing much on this particular front.... I have not yet in the times I have seen trump talk have heard anything about the Constitution come from his lips.... As appointing SCJ ? wonder who he would even consider.? He touched on it a bit the other night....but only about the SCJ upholding the constitution....

If Clinton wins, that slim chance narrows vanishingly small.
I'm basing this on my suspicion that, as one legislator admitted in an email, the legislature is not going to do anything about this. The Governor said he wouldn't do anything about this. MA courts are going to side with the AG. The only federal court that might go against it is SCOTUS, and they are going to go crazy liberal if HRC wins.

I think the chances of or legislators telling the AG you have no grounds to this is a very strong possibility . Now what will happen is the legislators will assemble go through the correct process and then **** us!
