The 2nd doesn't "give" anything, it forbids government( federal, state and local) whethter they like it or not) from infringing upon an existing right of the people, one that predates any existance of government or the Constitution or Bill of Rights.

Sooner or later, government is going to acknowledge this, whether voluntarily by legislation or by outright rebellion and force.....they WILL acknowledge the rights of the people. Its only a matter of time and to deny this is a fools game.

Government strongarms had better choose the side they are going to take because once the shit starts, there will be no turning back.
