As OP mentioned, they seem to have missed one key item. That is a win for firearms in the hands of the people, not in the hands of the power.

Does the “high capacity “ law pertain to .22’s?

Yes.
The exception being a fixed (non-detachable) tube magazine.

It did in the past. That is why Ruger 10/22 always had those 10 round mags.

Not true.
The ten round rotary Ruger 10/22 magazines pre-date any magazine capacity laws by decades.
Ruger chose to make that magazine style because it fit flush with the bottom of the rifle, while all their competitors of the day were using single stack mags that either held less and fit flush, or protruded out the bottom.

Figured I'd megathread this topic since they pop up all the time, a lot of times are ridiculous and we can make fun of them(and the comments are gold on either side).

Lowell proud of their bust, ...
(Notwithstanding @Zappa's post...),

Dupe.

Why is there a bunch of alcohol in a perp pic? That's like a good get together down here? Is that a dry county?

Forgot to mention, I've never encountered a dry county in New England but around here the Catholics, Presbyterians and Congregationalists outnumber the Southern Baptist and Methodists. [wink]
