A police recruit was asked during the exam, "What would you do if you
had to arrest your own mother?"

    He answered "Call for backup."

All jokes aside I was really asked what I would do if I was ever in a situation where I had to arrest a friend of family member. Come to think of it I don't know any officer or criminalist who hasn't been asked this.

I didn't know why step brother was taking a police exam. 8)

If you ever meet MOM, you'll know. The only little old lady (almost 85) I know that owns a Glock G22 (and several J and K frame S&W's).

Hey, I got my mom to shoot a PPK. I'm happy. Now if I could get her to carry pepper spray (which IS legal in the PRNJ, I think)...
