Plinking in the New Bedford area.

anyone know of a good place to do some plinking in the new bedford area? i'm obviously looking for somewhere that is legal and I wouldn't get questioned. I belong to a few ranges but it would be nice to have somewhere else to go with no 'rules'.

I used to go to an old sand pit in Freetown. I don't know if it is still ok to shoot there. The stopped using it on weekends because all the ATVs. I can ask around and see if it can still be used.

Keep in mind, That if the property you go plinking on is privately owned, you should have the owners express permission to use it. The lack of a No Trespasing sign is not an invitation for use.
