The point isn't to break the law...that is what idiots do when they protest. They need to show that we can protest AND do it in such a way that we get our point across but not be disruptive about it.

Yeah, I get your point and at some level, I think they should have done that. Remember though, gun owners are already demonized by the media. Why give them any more ammunition...excuse the pun

Just got back from the ride. It was pretty cool and the escorts did try to keep around 40mph in most places. A few places, like the Pike, Rt 1, etc. they sped up so we wouldn't get run over by merging traffic. Seen a lot of dumbfounded faces in cars passing us, more then a few supporters honking and a lot of people taking video. Was riding the bike so no pics from me. One of the bikes had a gopro so I'm sure that will get loaded later today. Great job by everyone involved putting this on. Was fun and hopefully the message gets across.

Oh and Minuteman Sportman's is one hell of a club if you like trap and skeet. Lost count of how many throwers they had there, but it's a LOT!

More always is better, but 100 is many more than "a few" and harder for media to ignore (although I'm sure they'll try!)... Would've been great to have a Pro 2A State Rep/Senator/Athlete etc in the lead and last car(s) waving a Gadsden in one hand and Old Glory in the other, etc....

There were no shortage of gadsdens and old Glory's. Ride was awesome, especially when we turned around on rt3 and you could see just how long the convoy was.

Downloading video from my gopro on the first bike now. Just got in. Battery crapped out at some point during the ride, knew I should have jacked in the dc power. It was 40 most of the way, sometimes 0, which drove me nuts since my back teeth were floating by the time we got to Hanson. Good turn out everyone. Thanks to Minuteman, Hanson Rod & Gun, and to GOAL!
