I love how we value the life of someone who wants to kill as many of us in the most heinous way than those he wants to kill.

The CIA has been hiding and interrogating some of its most important al Qaeda captives at a Soviet-era compound in Eastern Europe, according to U.S. and foreign officials familiar with the arrangement, the Washington Post reported.

And I wonder who the sources were? I am going to take a WILD stab in the back and say France, Germany and the Democratic National Committee.


But hell, I'm all for using ANY means necessary to get information to save innocent lives. But I'm just odd that way.

I was going to post a link to that article, but I figured everybody in here knows the CIA does stuff, just about anything it wants to do. So it wouldn't be much of a story. I'm sure the left is shocked and apauled by this story.

I just wanted to clarify something, I am all for freedom of the press. But I believe in a fair non-politically prejudice media. I am sick of the post, newsweek and cnn saying whatever they can to sell 1 more copy, even if it means trashing our own beautiful country.

No offense Juergen, but the German goverment didn't want us in Iraq because it was going to lose political interests and money

In return, the Iraqis offered to give lucrative contracts to German companies if the Berlin government helped prevent an American invasion of the country.

I remember Germany, France and Russia, not wanting us to go into Iraq because they were going to lose their contracts with Saddam on the oil. That is well known.

I'd be willing to bet that the source is someone within the CIA. There are a lot of Democrats in the CIA and they have been undermining the adminstration since the President came into office.

I'm not happy how our Govt. reacted and what BS had been
spread by a bunch of our (mostly lefty) politicos; after all they've been in an election campaign.
My opinion on this is that Saddam had to go, the one or the other way.
On the other hand I think the cause presented was poor marketing, same in Britain.
