Obviously, the scope of what we are up against in America has completely escaped you. The "media" hasn't been the "media" for quite some time now. They are agents of propaganda committed to the indoctrination of this country along with so called public education. Over 80% of them support liberal causes and give liberals unlimited air time. The Boston Globe for example has organized over 150 "media" outlets who have all committed to do all they can to take down the Trump administration. Every single day these “media” outlets dedicate stories, mostly false ones, to portray Trump and his supporters in the worst possible light.
Nathan Phillips was such a story. The story was fake, along with Phillips stories of war glory. But no matter, young white men, wearing MAGA hats, had to be destroyed, demonized. Whites had to be dragged through the sacrificial mud again. Agenda, propaganda versus news.
The Jussie Smollett farce again was foisted upon us. Like somehow your average white muggers walk down the street with MAGA hats, and just conveniently just happen to be in possession of a hangman’s noose, like we see that all the time. But no matter, the “media” lapped it up, it covered all the bases, anti-white, anti-Trump, bigots, homophobic, it was tailor made. The only thing that was missing was Al Sharpton. And as the story unraveled yesterday, I watched, and waited, for the “media” to cover the unraveling, because that’s what an unbiased media should do, right. Not one national media covered the unraveling, why should they, it was never a “news” story to begin with.
The news media ain’t unbiased in any way shape or form. The line between news and propaganda was crossed long ago and you had better wake up and snap to attention pretty damn quick and understand the difference.

Channel 5 is the worst of the worst. Every night they have at least two Demonrats on telling us how horrible Trump is. NEVER do you see any counter from the sane side. That's not reporting, that's pure propaganda.

Criticism is not the same as attempting to silence them. Trump has made no effort to shut them down or silence them. The closest incident would have been when Jim Acosta acted like a complete and total jackass and got himself kicked out of the press pool. Actions have consequences, and acting like a total grandstanding dick constantly is going to get extremely irritating to those subject to that behavior. The network was not banned from the WH press pool, so they could have just sent another reporter.
No attempts have been made to shut them down or censor any of these networks. They're still allowed to go around peddling patently false bullshit. How many major headlines in the past three months have been completely wrong, totally made up, or blatantly libelous simply because the journalists and editors don't bother to take 5 minutes to actually do their job? That is something that should be called out when it happens, and called out clearly and loudly so that everyone sees it for what it is.
Infringing upon their 1st amendment rights would involve actively trying to silence and censor these outlets. The only ones actively trying to do this are groups like Twitter and Facebook who have actively banned, blacklisted, and deplatformed people like Alex Jones and other independent media and conservative voices. Yes, Alex Jones is a nutcase, but guess what? Being a nutcase doesn't mean you aren't entitled to your 1st amendment rights. The f***ing Antifa and BLM shitheads have the 1st amendment right to say what they want and peaceably assemble and petition for redress of grievances. If they were able to actually do that without burning shit down and attacking people, then I wouldn't have much of a problem with them other than thinking they're f***ing stupid.

They all suck. I watch local stations for local happenings. Every time that little puke Keller is on channel 4 I get upset. Thursday I threw the pen that was in my hand at the TV.
Honestly we need stronger libel laws. Common sense ones. We’re not trying to stifle anyone’s free speech, we just want responsible journalism. I think most Americans would support background checks on stories before they’re published. Look at England, they have stricter libel laws and their journalistic excess have come way down since they enacted them.
I don’t disagree with you necessarily, but be careful before you suggest we use England as an example of responsible infringements on civil liberties...
Me, I’d rather err on the side of freedom, even if the media screws it up so often. Ultimately, an irresponsible media culture only happens when the citizens are too dumb to ignore the propaganda. In other words, it’s only partly the media’s fault.

Or they could have all of them, every last God damn one of them, left, right and center stand out in the street every afternoon and waited for the press secretary to walk to the end of the driveway, hand them a folder of press releases, then turn and walk away. Follow up inquiries can be made in writing to the press office to be included in the next day's releases.
The WH is under no obligation to participate in this press room dog and pony show where knobgobblers like Acosta try and shape the news not investigate and then journal it. (read: journalism)
This would end the soap opera antics of some and might force a move to real journalism from all.

They're confiscating guns all over the country as we speak. One guy stood up and was gunned down, and the media ignored it.
The question is when the next “shot heard round the world” will occur.
To be sure, the MSM is truly the devil’s megaphone to vex the souls of free Americans. I heed not to that evil speech. Gloss the headlines to get a reading of the times is all that is needed and the times are changing faster.

Whether it's in a place like Iraq or here, things get bad when everyone is out of work and has time to get angry and go start trouble. It'll probably happen during the coming depression, when the money printing stops working and everything implodes.
