Picked up a decent looking ERA P14 Enfield (No.3 MkI*) the other day. $200. Couldn't say no. Most, parts are Eddystone marked.

Looks like it had the Weedon upgrade to sure up the bolt lug, but was certainly fitted with a Model 1917 Eddystone stock at some point in life. No import marks, matching bolt and rear sight.

Pics upcoming, and thanks for looking.

This is my jealous face: [crying]

A P14 is the last milsurp longarm I really want, and for such short money... Wow. You're a lucky man.

Especially nice at the price. Care to explain the Weedon nupgrade? Looks like you just need a stacking swivel.

How's the bore?

Anyone know the percentage of Commonwealth troops armed with the P14?

I need to make a correction. This one might not have received the Weedon Repair Standard, which consisted of a thorough inspection, removal of volley sights, and any necessary repair work, some were restocked, and rebarreled.

What I had assumed was the Weedon asterisk on the receiver ring and bolt handle was actually the designation of the upgrade to the MkI* specs, which beefed up the locking lug of the bolt, and subsequent machining of the receiver to accept the lug.

God the prices you get.....I been looking for a p14 or a m1917 but everyone is priced high and beat up!
