Hey all,

Stopped at Patriot Arms in Milford NH ~1400 on a Saturday and they were closed up w/ no lights on. Hours on door said Sat 10am - 6pm.

Have they closed or moved, or were their hours wrong on the door? There was no sign on the door indicating as such.

They have never opened their doors. They were supposed to be open around the beginning of the summer.

Last time I saw one of the co-owners he told me of a delay in the FFL approval (that was late spring).
I have not seen either one of them since.

They opened shop today, very limited selection, prices seemed average, Saiga .308 was $329 used but he said it was unfired

I did see a sign that said "No Loaded Firearms in Store" Milford Firearm down the road has the same sign so I guess I can only go when I an not carrying in which case I will be limiting my visits, stateline isn't that far down the road

That's a shame. Wish he would have copied the (much more verbose) sign used at Riley's, while boils down to "No loaded long arms; also, don't be an idiot".

I stopped in for a few minutes this afternoon. Apparently Patriot finally got their FFL 5 days ago, and will have a lot more stock soon, so should be more interesting to visit later in September.

There may be a 3rd gun shop opening up here in town come April with in house gunsmithing and catering to fishing with available fishing guides for out of towners...but they will be leaning more to the firearms side.

Can this town hold 3 gun shops? dunno.

doubt it but a nice shop that has fishing stuff too could be nice

I don't think so either but if this 3rd shop materializes with a hefty support from the fishing community it might work...even though Nick is a good guy his shop doesnt have alot to offer overall and unless Patriots can separate it's self from Nicks shop it's just going to be the same....with lousy parking.I can't wait for the scanner to go off because some ole lady sees someone walking across the street towards the library with an AR or AK at the height of downtown traffic times.

Even better if there is no parking and you have to park over in the public parking by TD bank lol.

I stopped by Milford Firearms last weekend. My long bicycle ride takes me down 101A sometimes and I was turning around in a parking lot when I noticed the shop. So I walked in wearing full cycling kit. Only one other person in the shop talking to the guy behind the counter. We had a nice chat and I looked around some. A little low on stock from the website pics, but it's a tough economy to carry a lot of stock, I guess. While my LGS is MLF, they are slim on hunting and target, so it's good to find another nice local shop.

Hey guys Ryan from patriot firearms we are now open just got the ffl so we are little light on inventory but will be stockimg up we are interested in what you guys want and need so stop in talk to us and let us know would like to know what you guys want for reloding supplies and other stuff so we can help u guys out.Thank you again and hope to see u soon.

My biggest suggestion I can give you is get rid of the sign saying no loaded firearms in store. Big pet peeve of mine. I know what you are trying to prevent but put the policy out there that they need to remain holstered. Are you going to ask a LEO to unload his weapon prior to entering your establishment? I would suggest spelling out that loaded firearms should remain holstered or unloaded prior to entry into the store.

Hey Ryan, will stop in to browse your wares. I personally love to shop milsurps and I know lots of younger folks do too due to relatively low price and familiarity playing FPS like Call of Duty, Medal of Honor, etc..

Thanks guys for your support again just to let you all know there is parking in the rear of the building to and also a municipal lot right over ther to. keep stopping into patriot firearms enjoying the storys and friendships.

Do you still have the "no loaded gun" policy?

Wanted to stop by today but I am always armed and I don't leave my weapon in the truck.
