During Saturday’s student march for gun control, Parkland shooting survivor Delany Tarr made clear that she and other gun controllers plan to parlay a bump stock ban into numerous other gun controls.

Tarr spoke to the crowd and Think Progress quoted her saying, “When they give us that inch, that bump stock ban, we will take a mile.”

This is why using kids for this kind of stuff is always a stupid idea. Bloomturd and Feinstein must've cringed when they heard her say that publicly. Now all gun owners know, besides those of us that already knew, but there is no misconstruing that. Everyone knows their true end game now

Anyone who doesn't still get it, will never get it. Concessions at this point should be 100% off the table for good.
They should have been off the table many years (decades) ago. Sadly, our rights have been eroded for decades. WE'VE been 'taking it' mostly due to not wanting to be given PP status over pushing back. IMO, there's not much room left for us to give until we're there anyway. So, at what point do we (collectively) say "f*** OFF!" and not give anymore??

I've been waiting to land a new job before I purchased a 'bump stock' mostly to just HAVE one. But it looks like that might not be an option pretty soon (haven't read all of the info on the 'ban' yet), if it isn't already verboten.

I always see people laughing at “memes” saying how dumb they are , they don’t even know what semi-auto means.

The problem is there not dumb at all. There just making everyone believe these are actual automatic weapons. Furthering there agenda to ban guns. Period. Whoever hasn’t figured this out is in there own world or just completely naive.

To answer a lot of people’s questions on this forum. I believe we are to late. I think as a adult I wasted to much time not fighting for my rights. Few votes to late and few calls to late. (Not all hope lost here)

I have a 4 year old and 2week old son. All I can do make sure to teach them my beliefs and hope they help make difference in the future.

I’m going to continue writing my emails, making my phones calls and donating to gun rights groups.

Unfortunately we only have commies in office in MA. Stop calling them Democrats.

My 14 year old son was visiting this weekend and he mused that his generation is filled with hand wringing, easily manipulated wussies who can barely put together an individualistic thought for themselves.

But he does engage in active dialogue and as a war buff, he knows that disarming a society has led to many atrocities in the past.

He also has become much more involved in studying things like the Bill of Rights. He is keenly aware that the Second Amendment has nothing to do with hunting or personal use and has shut up more than one kid saying that AR's are overkill for hunting (not that they are anyway). And he is always ready to throw out other Amendments and ask what would happen if anyone tried to revoke those.

All I can hope is that there are enough kids out there with the brains and independence to stand up to their peers, ask tough questions and to focus on some of the deeper problems our society that are helping to create the atrocities like Parkland....I'm doing my best to educate my 4 kids, I just hope they can remain strong.

Couldn't have said it better. "Loose lips sink ships" is very appropriate. Kids as spokespeople will always get to the point. In theri game of slow erosion of the Second Amendment, that approach is very ill advised. Now the left can't say Gun Owners are just paranoid by nature and are misconstruing their intent.

I'm sure one of her "handlers" spoke with her after the event, just to make sure she tows their line next time.

No surprise on this. Most of these morons calling for moar gun control don't know what lawrs exist today and don't think past their noses.

You want to catch the brainless anti masses off guard ask them when enough is enough. How much gun control is enough. All of these people say they don't want to take our guns. Either they do and are lying or they simply haven't thought more than six seconds ahead.

This Delaney chick knows what the end game is and has communicated it loud and clear. Time for all of the Fudds to pick up what is being put down.

Yup. Hopefully this wakes some Fudds up.

forgive my ignorance....I wasn't aware that a bump stock used in parkland? So not sure how a bump stock ban would have reduced the number of lives lost of people injured in that event.

I am somehow reminded of one of John Adams' final quotes:
“Posterity! you will never know how much it cost the present generation to preserve your freedom! I hope you will make a good use of it. If you do not, I shall repent in Heaven that I ever took half the pains to preserve it.”

Come on guys we have to compromise and be reasonable. We have to "do something" now or down the road we'll loose all our rights.. so we should submit alittle at a time, everytime so we dont lose everything.

Or so i hear all the time on NES after every event... a mass shooting is like a liberal/rino coming out of the closet party.

Im also so tired of hearing "we can all agree"...NO i dont agree with any of it.

This attitude reminds me of tony stark in marvels Captain America civil war

I find it very disturbing that all these corporations are lining up to support these groups and choosing sides. Companies like Southwest and Delta providing free airfare. Marriott providing free meeting places. It goes on and on. I was less surprised by Delta, but I thought Southwest's heritage serving Texas, and smaller airports would have given them a different corporate perspective.

Three pillars of the Elite: Military/LE, Economic and Political

These "public" companies may trade publicly, but they are controlled by select few. Unfortunately those at the top as well as many FUDDS support keeping arms from the common plebes.

Personally I can't see a need why ""I"" would need a bump stock. But I also don't see a reason to outlaw them. Sorry for the above person, but if someone wants to go off the deep end and kill a bunch of people, it's gonna happen. Only stop is a person on the other end with a gun. Didn't see a mention about "Gun Free School Zone" in recent shootings. Nor did I see that Casino's have No Firearms Permitted tacked on all of their doors, ala Vegas. Anti's are just mindless.

I’ve always believed that when two generations are raised under indoctrination, it gets the society to pivotal point and if we’re now talking about the third one - it’s a point of no return, unless we’re all do something about the education system and this is not just about the 2A - it’s about our way of life.
No one said that the communists were stupid.
I don’t have all the answers, but I can clearly see that the time to get our shite together and act is now. Introducing our yangs and friends to the firearms it’s not enough.

We need to start thinking outside the box. And a LOT of that "box" has to do with how we identify these "United" States of America. They are no longer even close to "United" - even here, amongst people I've known for decades, I have incompatible differences, and with some of the younger ones, they're using language patterns (lexicon, inflection, and rhythm) that are outright foreign. They ARE foreign and need to be treated as foreign. Or we do. But regardless, there needs to be a SEPARATION between them and us. They aren't us and we're certainly not them.

But, but, but I thought it wasn't about banning or taking guns away but about common sense gun laws?
