Blue Mountain School District in Pennsylvania has installed 5-gallon buckets of rocks in classrooms to be used for defense in the event of a school shooting.

Students in one US school district are being armed with rocks to defend themselves during a mass shooting

Superintendent, "I thought they would be more effective than throwing books or book bags or staplers."

Ironically, in a high school zero-tolerance environment that solution would likely cause you to be suspended. :/

I saw that on the news myself too. A total loss of words for me. No armed teachers or staff? Sad to see how that works if they need to protect their life. I wonder how long before some knucklehead starts breaking windows in the classroom? lol

I'd put a loaded .45 on the bottom of that bucket, a couple of rags and cover it with rocks.
If needed, hand out the rocks, use the rags as tourniquets and level the muzzle of that Barking American Fist at the door...
