I'm personally over the micro 9 phase and decided that I wanted to get the XL grip for my P365. Only problem was that to do so, I'd have to find (unlikely now) P365XL 10rd mags in stock and then shell out $50-60 dollars for each one. I found another solution though. A company called TacticalDev sells baseplate extenders for $14. that will lengthen a stock P365 10rd mag to work in the XL grip without adding rounds. They appear to be 3D printed, but using an industrial grade 3D printer. Makes me wonder if I could have just made it myself, but I have a feeling the retention lips on this industrial printed version are stronger than anything I could print.

In any case, it works very well. With the standard grip, I could barely get my pinky even half way on the grip, and I have small hands (but wide). With the XL grip, I have most of my pinky on it. Even better, I no longer have the back corner of the backstrap digging into my palm.

The entire process of switching the modular action took about 2 minutes. No exaggeration. Just one roll pin, swap it out, and punch the pin back in. That's it. Sig might be on to something there. I also notice they have this fantastic mag construction, where the baseplate slides off very easily and the guts stay in place without having to hold it.

All in all, I'm $50 (grip) plus $14 (mag) into it. Well, I actually bought 4 of the baseplates, but you get the idea. Worth it for me, and a super simple upgrade with nearly zero chance of messing anything up. Oh, and to anyone saying "why would you make it longer if you aren't getting more rounds?" Look at the last pic compared to a flush round Shield. Exact same size, yet more fingers on the grip.
