Saw the Stones 10 years ago at Fenway. Paid big bucks, saying to the wife, 'this is probably the last time we will get to see them. Mick is getting old for this, he is 65, how much longer can he keep doing this'. Fast forward to a month ago, bought to tix to see them at Gillette saying, 'this is probably the last time we will get to see them. Mick is getting old for this, he is 75, how much longer can he keep doing this...

I am sure Keith Richards has none of his original blood, it has all been transfused with some from a 20 year old olympian.

Same for Ozzy. He hopefully will get another go round.

 

I could have seen The Who and the Rolling Stones in 1983, but thought they were too old and past their prime then.

 

In other words, Ozzy has The Enzyme.
Sigh.

 

saw ozzie on 2 different british talk shows a while back and i'm telling you the persona he presented on those was a whole lot different than the bumbling, mumbling drug encased fool he likes us to see on some of these tv shows. he was in a suit and believe it or not, can speak clearly and articulately. the man can put a sentence together while speaking proper english. i was floored, if i met him in the street i may not have recognized him. the prince of darkness took the night off. ruined the whole effect for me.

I've been saying the same thing about AC/DC for the last 20 years. Saw Ozzy for the first time last year and was planning on trying to get tickets for the next leg of hist US tour this summer if any tickets get released at the last minute. Glad I didn't buy tickets when they first went on sale as it seems very likely more shows will get cancelled or postponed.
