They think it's over.
The National Rifle Association think they won when they blocked common sense background checks for all gun purchases from passing the Senate last month. But it's not over.
As a former District Attorney, I have seen first-hand what gun violence does to a community -- how it shakes the foundation of families, friends and neighbors. Ignoring that pain and loss to bolster the bottom line of the gun manufacturers is just wrong. I won't stand for it.


Join me in telling the NRA that this fight is not over by adding your name today.

Along with President Obama, the families of the Sandy Hook massacre and victims of gun violence everywhere, we will continue to push for sensible gun control. The only way we can match the money and influence of the NRA is with your help -- with millions of voices crying out in unison, "enough!"


Add your voice, stand up against gun violence and tell the NRA, "enough."


Let's not wait for another gun massacre to demand action. The time is NOW to enact meaningful reforms to prevent the next massacre before it occurs.

Respond with something along the lines of: "Why don't you start acting to prevent another massacre before it occurs. Support the bill to repeal the "Gun Free Schools Act" which has contributed significantly to these massacres. Help enact laws that allow law-abiding citizens to carry concealed weapons wherever they are, and support national reciprocity. And stop giving into the special interest groups that want to make the entire country as crime-filled and violent as places like Chicago."

These people are socialists and they don't even know it.
I never really understood what LEFT and RIGHT meant, what liberal / conservative really meant, until moving to Massachusetts and deciding to study the issue on 2A more closely. How anyone could support being a victim and choosing to give up their maybe only means of self protection is beyond comprehension.

I've recently stopped arguing with liberals about firearms in general... my new rule. So I just call them stupid and move on.

It's almost always pointless, they never understand the logic and that frustrates me to no end. It would be the same as trying to explain to your dog how to make a sandwich. Your dog just doesn't have the capacity to understand what you are trying to teach it.

The only difference is... when your dog doesnt understand, you don't feel like punching him in the face.

I know, it is almost impossible. These lefties ironically HATE religion, and HATE religious people because they feel like religious people are entrenched emotionally in their beliefs, yet ironically they are EXACTLY the same!
