Sadly that is not going to fly w/o a MA LTC. MGL C. 140 S. 131G does NOT apply, as every other known state (according to former FRB Director Jason Guida, and my knowledge of ME, NH, PA and FL licenses agree with him) WILL issue a license to a previously convicted drug user. 131G ONLY applies if the state the person has a license from will NEVER issue said license to a previously convicted drug user.
At least some PDs are aware of this (and yes all of us . . . myself, the late Darius Arbabi, etc. thought otherwise) from when Jason gave seminars to licensing officers.
